Dr. Monroe began practicing general and cosmetic dentistry in Maryland in 2004. She was born and raised in South Bend, Indiana. She graduated with a Bachelors degree in science from Indiana State University and then received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Indiana University in 2004.
Dr. Monroe is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Colorado Dental Association and the Colorado Prosthodontic Society.

Shelly, Expanded Duty Dental AssistantShelly has been with Dayton Dental for 3 years and has worked in dentistry since 2002 with 8 years of experience as a Dental Assistant. In 2002 she graduated from Pima Medical Institute where she received her certificate of completion for the Dental Assisting Program. In 2009, Shelly went on to further her education Expanded Duties for Dental Assisting (EDDA) at Pickens Tech. Shelly specializes in assisting Dr. Monroe and all dental procedures as well as placement of composite resin fillings. She enjoys working with patients and will do her best to make sure that your dental experience is as comfortable and relaxing as possible.
Amber, Dental AssistantAmber graduated from Concorde Career College in 2006 receiving her certificate of completion for the Dental Assisting program and has been with Dayton Dental for nearly 4 years. As an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant, she works with Dr. Monroe and does coronal polishes, places resin fillings, and takes x-rays. Her goal is to make sure our patients appointments are as comfortable and relaxing as possible.
